Marantz AD-5

2way multichannel electronic crossover network.

As for the cut-off frequency, the LPF and HPF side has been independent.
And it can select from 11 points (70Hz, 90Hz, 180Hz, 300Hz, 500Hz, 800Hz, 1.2kHz, 3.2kHz, 5kHz, 7kHz, and 10kHz).

A slope selector is a two-point slope selector which can choose two kinds of loss in quantity, 6 dB/oct and 12 dB/oct. And it is the knob with which the LPF and HPF side became independent.

A high precision conductive plastics volume with little error with a panel window is used for a level control. And the delicate sound volume of a right-and-left speaker can be adjusted with the Dual-unit type of a L-R independency.

By setting the switchpoint of a panel to INTERNAL, HPF and LPF can become a series connection, and it can operate as a band pass filter, and can upgrade to 3way and 4way by additional of AD-5.

The center channel for subWoofers is equipped. Cut-off frequencies are 70Hz, 100Hz, and 150Hz. The slope property is 24 dB/oct.





Marantz AD-6

The electronic crossover network used for a multi-amplifier system.
A basic stream composition consists of the high-pass filter (HPF) and low pass filter (LPF) which divide a stereo signal into a low-pass output and a high region output, and an 11-point selection is possible for it in a cut-off frequency to a HPF-LPF independency.
A switchover of 6 dB/oct and 12 dB/oct is possible for a slope property.
The super-low-pass center channel output only for three-dimensional system is carried.
Each output signal is from 0. - Level adjustment is possible to infinity.

Mark Levinson LNC-2L

The electronic crossover developed aiming at the crossover which is not inferior to LNP-2 and JC-2.
LNC-2L consists of main-unit LNC-2L and power-source part PLS-153L.
Every one channel filter circuit of every of a high-pass and a lowpass consists of a total of four modules.
Adoption of this module construction has realized the cross over frequency specified as the user in a high robustness and precision.
Although LNC-2L is 2 way type, if two OCS modules of an option are incorporated, it is also possible to use it as a 3 way type by one set.
However, the damping characteristics of a high region in this case serves as 6 dB/oct.
By LNC-2L carrying out a two-set (they being four sets when it is four ways) using, for forming 3 ways by 18 dB/oct, in that case, by using HX SERIAL INPUT, the high region can pass the filter for mid ranges, and can connect a preamplifier output to a high-pass filter direct.
Moreover, when using two sets and forming 3 ways, it is also possible to use one set at a time as 3 way type of a monophonic recording.
The MONO BASS functionality is carried.
